In a just published Form 13, filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Amyris Inc. (NASDAQ:AMRS) reported that Temasek Holdings (private) Ltd. has picked up 66,254,624 of common stock as of 2016-12-15.
The acquisition brings the aggregate amount owned by Temasek Holdings (private) Ltd. to a total of 66,254,624 representing a 24.7% stake in the company.
For those not familiar with the company, Amyris, Inc. is an integrated industrial biotechnology company. The Company is engaged in research and development and sales of fuels and farnesene-derived products. It is applying its industrial synthetic biology platform to engineer, manufacture and sell products into a range of consumer and industrial markets, including cosmetics, flavors and fragrances (F&F), solvents and cleaners, polymers, lubricants, healthcare products and fuels.
A glance at Amyris Inc. (NASDAQ:AMRS)’s key stats reveals a current market capitalization of $205.00 million based on 263.02 million shares outstanding and a price at last close of $0.775 per share.
Looking at insider activity, there are a few transactions worth noting.
